Qanemciput Piliaput-llu (Our Stories and the Things We Made)

Five students spent a week in Bethel with twelve other schools from around the district to put on a performance of epic proportions.  The days flew by as students were busy creating the set, assembling enormous ten foot puppets, practicing the songs and movements, eating, going to the store, and even a little homework.

Tununak's contribution to the performance was a two and a half minute stop-motion animation video, At'kuller.  High school students spent months in production - designing the set, creating the outfits for the manikins (including a fur parka), hours of photography, more hours in editing, and a number of afternoons spent recording and re-recording the narration.

The week ended with a pair of performances that went off without a hitch.  Great work to all involved!
